Welcome to another exciting season of Junior Football in Saskatchewan! I am Rosanne McCall, VP of Communications on the board of directors for the Regina Thunder Junior Football Club. My role is to keep you informed of Thunder activities throughout the year. The club plans to communicate with you through email and the Thunder website. Our website www.reginathunder.ca is updated on a regular basis. We are always in need of volunteers to help our team run smoothly. We encourage
you to get involved in any way possible. The following are ways in which you can contribute to the success of our team. If you are interested in volunteering or helping out in any way with any of the following activities, please contact me through email shawnmccall@sasktel.net
Game Day Volunteers:
Ticket sellers Selling programs
Ticket takers Selling 50/50
Game statisticians Clothing Sales
Taking action shots Setting up/taking down tables for beer gardens
Assisting in Communications:
Writing up articles for the website, PFC and league weekly media releases
Putting together articles for the team program
Contacting media for press conferences and game days
Setting up advertising on radio and 7 Oaks electronic billboard
Promoting NFL Pool Tickets and Sports Dinner Fundraiser
Planning Fundraising Dinner and Awards Banquet
Helping out with team barbecues
Regina Thunder Board of Directors:
We are looking to fill a couple of vacant director positions on the board. We meet once a month throughout the year. If you would like more information contact any of the board members listed on the website or contact me through email.
Selling NFL Pool Tickets:
This is our big fundraiser! Tickets are $20.00/ticket. The players
get $5.00 credited towards their next year’s fees for every ticket their family sells! Tickets will be out in August.
