Player Information


Players,

Training camp begins Friday, August 6.  Individual player pictures will be taken for the team program.

Once you have arrived at the field and have registered with the managers in the clubhouse,with all your paperwork, look for the sign up table for pictures. (Usually outside) If you are a returning player please find your name and information and check to see the information is correct.  If it is correct please put a check mark beside your name or if corrections are needed please make the necessary changes on the sheet.For new players find your name and print neatly the following information.

    Height and Weight in inches and pounds
    Home town
    High school
    Position - DB, O Line, D Line, Punter/Kicker, Quarterback, Receiver, Linebacker etc. 
Once you have the information listed/corrected please sign the picture sheet and put on a jersey and wait for your turn.

           Player fees are due just around the corner!  Like most post secondary teams we have a team fee to pay.
The break down is as follows:

$75.00 first year deposit on equipment
$30.00 for year end banquet fee
$30.00 for Football Sask Lottery
(we collect the money ahead of time you sell the tickets, money is yours)
$10.00 team Picture
$255.00 playing fee
( money can be earned to cover this by selling NFL Pool tickets, $5 for every ticket you sell goes to your account)
$400.00 TOTAL (for 1st year players)

(returning players will have equipment and NFL credits)

Friday, August 20 - Player Fees Due -  $400.00 for new players
- returning players will receive a print out of how much they owe by August 18

NFL POOL TICKETS are now available!  This is an exciting fundraiser unique to the Regina Thunder.  Details are on the website of how it is run and the prize money.  It is hoped that each player sells at least 20 tickets @ $20.00 each.  The money and ticket stubs must be in by September 7, 2010 so they can be entered into the computer system for tabulating the weekly winners.  Watch in future emails for ticket pick up dates and times;        Reminders when selling and turning in tickets:

                        *Keep the portion of the ticket the buyer fills out.

                        *Print the player’s name who is selling the ticket where it says seller.

                        *Return tickets in the correct envelope in numerical order. (this makes it easier when we are accounting for all the tickets sold)

                        *Make sure the money turned in matches the number of tickets sold.

                        *All tickets must be returned even if they are not sold.

                        *Players name and jersey number should be printed neatly on the outside of the envelope before handing in tickets

Friday, May 7 to Sunday, May 9
@ Mosaic Stadium
 
 
Registration begins Friday Night at 5:30 p.m.
Please have your $20.00 Registration fee ready when you pick up your jersey Friday Night!
 
Practice begins @ 7:00 sharp so be dressed and ready on the field by 6:50 p.m.
 
Saturday and Sunday practices are at 9:30 & 2:30.
 
Following the 2:30 Scrimmage on Sunday
Players and their families are invited to attend a free barbecue
back at the clubhouse!
