The Regina Thunder will kick off their 2024 season with the start of Spring Camp on Friday, May 3. 

Scott MacAulay, who is entering his 12th season as the Thunder Head Coach, is expecting 135 players, including 64 returning veterans to take the field for the three-day training camp.

“I feel we had a very successful off-season and have signed an extremely strong recruitment class which means intense competition for our returning veterans,” said MacAulay. “After a long winter, our coaching staff is ready to get back on the field and prepare the team to take the first steps toward a 2024 CJFL championship.”

The 2024 Thunder hopefuls will be on the turf at Mosaic Stadium Friday night at 7:30 pm.

“Our spring camp provides our players an opportunity to display their athletic and football abilities to their teammates and coaches,” said Thunder team President Murad Al-Katib. “I want to thank our season sponsors; Fries Tallman, AGT, the Rider’s Foundation and Co-op Refinery Complex (the Thunder Acts of Kindness sponsor) for their continued commitment to the Regina Thunder and junior football in Saskatchewan.” 

2024 Spring Camp Schedule

Friday, May 3: 7:30pm to 10pm at Mosaic Stadium

Saturday, May 4: 10:30am to 12:30pm and 4pm to 6:30pm at Mosaic Stadium

Sunday, May 5: 9:30am to 11:30am at Mosaic Stadium

Sunday, May 5: 2pm - Intersquad Scrimmage at Leibel Field

All Thunder parents, alumni and fans are welcome to come watch Spring Camp. At Mosaic Stadium fans and media are asked to use the Gate 1 entrance.
